Plasmapheresis

It is a known fact that high levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in your blood can increase the risk of coronary artery disease and stroke. It was discovered that people with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH), which is caused by unusually high levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in the blood caused by genetics, have a higher chance of getting coronary artery disease or ischemic stroke at a young age.

In addition to high-low density lipoprotein (LDL), which has been linked to an increased risk of coronary artery disease, there is another fat termed lipoprotein a, which has been linked to an increased risk of coronary artery disease without being linked to LDL levels in the blood. This suggests that even if our LDL levels are normal, high Lipoprotein a level can induce cardiovascular disease.

Lipoprotein is found in the general population as high as 30%, and to date, no drug or behavior modification has been proven to reduce lipoprotein levels. The only effective treatment for reducing coronary artery disease risk is by filtering the blood to remove fats which has been found to reduce lipoprotein a by 63% and reduce cardiovascular symptoms by 94%. Therefore, if you are at family risk for coronary artery disease or have high levels of bad cholesterol (LDL), Plasmapheresis is an attractive option to help reduce your risk of coronary heart disease.

Blood Detoxification through Plasmapheresis or the removal of impurities and wastes from the blood By using an innovative double-layer filter that minimizes the loss of plasma and beneficial proteins from our blood in order to solve the problem of excessive plasma and protein loss due to conventional plasmapheresis. Doing a detox can help filtering low density lipoprotein out of the blood immediately. It also filters out AGEs, or “aging substances,” that if accumulated in our body in large quantities, can lead to chronic disease, atherosclerosis and aging faster including various allergens from the blood as well.

Blood detoxification through plasmapheresis takes approximately 2-4 hours without hospitalization. Throughout the period of plasmapheresis, you will be under the supervision of a medical professional, professional nurses in a private room with various facilities that are separated from the hospital. This reduces the risk of infection from other patients.
